File Transfer Protcol
I had never really thought about other ways to obtain information with my computer, just taken it for granted that my children would live in a world where communication and gathering data would be so much easier and widespread than when I was growing up. Nothing wrong with the world of playing outside till it got dark, running up the road to see your mates rather than ringing or texting them, only talking to people ftf and all that. But when you get right into computers and discover these other ways of gathering data, it can be mind-blowing to know that it is so easy if you know what you are doing.

To download a client for this, I used the link that was supplied on the discussion board by other students. I have downloaded programs before, so I didn't find this difficult, but did have to read through the help info so that I knew what to do with the window that popped up before me.

According to the README file that I opened "CAPITALIZATION MATTERS"..............

Bring on the next task........
