Almost time to take a breath.....the last task in Module 1.........

I decided that I would go to the link supplied for CentralOps.net....from here I used the traceroute feature and was surprised by my discovery....

From CentralOps.net (IP Number [70.84.211.98] to curtin.edu.au (IP Number [134.7.179.53] was only 20 hops. I was thinking when I was reading through this task that it would take many more hops than this.

Tracing route to curtin.edu.au [134.7.179.53]...

Trace complete

I had a bit of a play around with this, found my own IP address and just had a look around. I have downloaded tool bars previously, so I decided that I would not pursue that again and as I am having some problems with the memory on my computer, I also chose not to download any more programs at this stage........but rest assured that I have a hard copy of the tasks and will be keeping this for further exploration and future reference.

I am surprised at how much I have actually enjoyed this module and I am really looking forward to the rest of this unit. I am no longer scared that I am on my own (everyone is so friendly and helpful) and know that help is out there if I need it........
